Foundation English

This free course teaches learners how to communicate more effectively and participate more within New Zealand society. Learners will gain the confidence to carry on with their studies or enter the workforce.

This course is ideal for new migrants, refugees or for people whom English is their second language. For further details email office@activeinstitute.co.nz. The course lasts for 120 hours.

Times are Monday - Friday (9.00 am — 1.00 pm)

Who is eligible

  -  New Zealand citizens or residents

  -  People aged 16 years and older and who are not a full time secondary school student
